FAQ

Long-distance questions

How far will you drive?

Most long-distance trips we run are within about 300 miles of Washington, such as New York, Philadelphia, Richmond or Virginia Beach, but we quote any route on request. For trips that start in another city, we can arrange service through our affiliate network.

How is a long-distance trip priced?

You get a flat-rate quote in advance based on the route, the vehicle and the time needed, including the chauffeur’s return. There are no surge prices.

Can we stop along the way?

Yes. Tell us about planned stops for meals, meetings or a second pickup when you book and we’ll build them into the schedule and the quote.

Is a car faster than the train or flying?

Often, door to door. You skip the trip to the station or airport, security lines and the last leg at the other end, and you leave on your schedule. For New York the drive is typically 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic.

Can you take a group?

Yes. SUVs seat up to 6, our Sprinters 13 to 14 with luggage, and minibuses 28 or 37, which makes a road trip much easier than coordinating group flights.

How do I get a quote?

Send your pickup address, destination, date, pickup time, number of passengers and luggage through our reservation or contact form, or call 800-584-1898.
